Between the years 2005 and 2010 Maserati obtained 19 victories and the title of champion of the Championship FIA GT1 in 2005, and did so with a car very special, the Maserati MC12. Just did the 50 units of street that the FIA demanded in order to homologate the racing version, the Maserato MC12 Corsa, which for its part is made of 12 units.

Well, one of them has gone through the hands of Edo Competition, one of the partner technicians of Maserati at the time of developing this version of the competition, and to celebrate the centenary of Maserati, have switched to that version of racing in a model of street simply spectacular. It is not the first MC12 street, but it is still worthy of mention.

The VC, letters that respond to Version Corse, has been done by applying the minimum possible modifications on the racing model. That was one of the basic premises at the time of developing the project. That is why one of the main elements that had to change was the exhaust system which now has a noise level of legal and you can configure it so that it sounds more or less by remote control.

The racing version took the refuelling system fast by pressure, and this has also been changed to be able to repostarlo at any station normal. We have modified a bit the settings of the suspension and the front axle is installed a lifting system to be able to pass through some critical areas.

Lights, tires, street, window glass instead of the plastic and of course a system of opening and closing with key for the doors are some of the other elements that it has taken this car to be able to legally operate, as evidenced by the papers of approval that have been achieved.

Seven months of work and the result is simply spectacular. A supercar with an engine 6.0 V12 that develops 755 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 740 Nm at 5,500 rpm. With a weight of only about 1250 pounds, this beast is capable of doing 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 6 seconds. The top speed is 330 km/h.
