The FIA has not been involved in the discussions between Liberty Media and CVL rights. Jean Todt was pleased to see the arrival of a big group.

Liberty Media Corporation is going to buy the commercial rights of F1 to CVC Capital Partners and other shareholders. The transaction will end at the beginning of the year 2017.
The FIA, the governing body of the championship, has not been involved in these discussions. She has published a press release in which it expressed its desire to have more information on the terms of the agreement.
She hopes to soon be able to discuss with the various parties involved.
