Caterham Seven Sprint, a version retro to celebrate 60 years of the model

The legendary Caterham Seven was originally envisioned by Colin Chapman meets 60 years, nothing less. To celebrate, the manufacturer English launches a variant with a flavor very retro, called the Caterham Seven Sprint, whose production will be limited to only 60 units. It will be offered only in the United Kingdom and some european markets, from 27.995 pounds (about 33,000 euros).

Inspired by a model of Seven which was due to be launched in the sixties but never saw the light, the car is available in six body colors (the same that would have been offered at the time) and looks for specific details such as the front wheel flared, tires, vintage color cream and chrome, the polished exhaust or the drivers rear independent.

Also the cabin has a feel very classic , thanks to a covering of red color -a game with the wrapped dash-, three-spoke steering wheel with ring of wood or box of instruments for classic look. Under the body hides a three-cylinder engine of 660 cubic centimeters and origin Suzuki, with a power of 81 HP. Thanks to the light weight of the package, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h shipped in 6,9 seconds.
