The Auto Show in Los Angeles in 2016 confirmed the debut of at least 50 different models, including 20 never before seen in any part of the world. This was the second Auto Show of the season 2016-2017, which kicked off last weekend with the Auto Show in Miami, where Nissan had the world debut of the new generation of the Nissan Rogue, including its first hybrid version, and Nissan Sentra SR Turbo. At the Auto Show in Los Angeles in 2016 (from 18 to 27 November at the Convention Center of Los Angeles), it is expected that virtually all manufacturers provide new models or significantly redesigned.

Among the list of 20 debuts world, are cars from Alfa Romeo, Mazda, MINI, Subaru, Volkswagen, and a new SUV compact Jeep, along with news from Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover and smart. Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Nissan also confirmed the presentation of several new models, and Porsche has promised five of them, including some that have already been submitted in Europe.

General Motors will have several debuts for the market of North America, including two in the Chevrolet brand, while Cadillac will present the prototype Cadillac Scale that debuted originally on the Concept Lawn of the Pebble Beach Concours d'elegance. It is also expected that a number of manufacturers to show their advances in luxury vehicles with large engine alternative, including SUVs, hybrid or electric. The brand new Elio Motors, shall submit in order to what is expected to be his final model of production; the car highly efficient and low-cost Elio E1C, based on the prototype P5 prototype that will be exhibited within the area ePlus of AutoMobility.

The E1C is a car for two people that has the capacity to yield up to 84 miles per gallon of gasoline, with a base price of just $7,300, and which has already received over 65,000 bookings. After the Auto Show in Los Angeles, the season will take a break until the Auto Show in Detroit in January, Chicago in February, and finally New York April 2017.
